Birthday parties

This past weekend we had two family birthday parties.  On Friday night it was for cousin Mia's 12th on my side and then on Saturday it was for cousin Blaire's 3rd on Tim's side.  Tim's grandparents were able to come so Haley and Jeremy were able to see their great grandparents and spend some time with them.  We tried to get some good family pictures, but that's easier said than done.  We did get some pretty good ones though as you can see here.

Jeremy's Garden

This summer, Jeremy planted a garden. He planted green beans, carrots, cantaloupe, watermelon and zucchini. The carrots never did anything and we got a few green beans. We have a cantaloupe that's very close to being ready to pick and many others growing. There is one watermelon growing and the zucchinis have done great. Here are a few pictures of the proud farmer!

Haley's 1st Birthday

Haley turned 1 year old this past Saturday.  We celebrated with a party at our house with family and friends. There a lot of people here, but Haley did great!  Jeremy was a little sleepy all day and didn't seem himself, but he got better as the night progressed.  Haley received many great gifts, including tons of adorable clothes, a kitchen, shopping cart and dollhouse.  So we now have some girl toys and more pink in our house, although Jeremy loves them too!  Haley loved her cupcake and even had an ice cream cone afterwards.

State Fair

This past week, my parents and I took Jeremy and Haley to the state fair.  It was a long day, but Jeremy had a blast!  Haley did very well and had fun too, but of couse Jeremy was able to do more than she could.  Jeremy was even able to share some of grandma Ficklin's funnel cake at the fair and hot fudge sundae from McDonald's on the way home.  We saw lots of animals, tractors, rode on rides, but Jeremy favorite was the train stuff.  He saw a big one, rode on two small ones and saw art with trains.
