Zoo

 Yesterday we went to the zoo with, Renae, one of my oldest friends from grade school and high school and her two kids.  Renae's daughter Brianna is 3 years old too.  Her and Jeremygot along very well and had a great time together.  Haley tried to join in as much as she could with the big kids.  We rode the train, the merry go round, feed the goats, had a picnic lunch, saw lots of animals, played on the playground and got cookies as a treat before we left.  It was a long, but wonderful day at the zoo.  I had to wake Jeremy up from a 2 and 1/2 hour nap that afternoon because he was so worn out.  Haley on the other hand, only slept for an hour, not sure how she did that, she had to be tired too!

Royals home opener

  This year Jeremy got to go with mommy and daddy to the Royals home opener.  Haley stayed with Grandpa and Grandma Ficklin since it was in the middle of nap time and this made it more special for Jeremy too.  He was excited all day and he wore his Royals shirt to school to show his friends.  He had  a great time!

Flights of Fancy kite festival

 This past weekend we went to the Flights of Fancy kite festival in Lee's Summit.  The kids, Grandpa and Grandma Ficklin and I met Great Aunt Patricia and cousins Owen, Finley, Nikki, Isabella, Francesca, and Claudio there.  Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful weather even though the wind didn't cooperate too well for the kites.  Jeremy was able to get a balloon animal snake (which didn't pop this time), get his face painted like a tiger, play mini-golf and run to fly a parachute.

Easter (Finally)

   I had so many pictures to go through, so it was tough to decide what to put on here.  Jeremy and Haley enjoyed another Easter season full of family and beautiful weather.  They had 5 Easter egg hunts. The night before Easter we went to their Uncle Brenden and Aunt Dina's house a steak dinner, Easter egg hunt and lots of outdoor fun.  Then on Eater Sunday---the Easter bunny came to our house, we went to mass, looked for eggs at home and then headed to their Great Uncle Carl and Great Aunt Beth' lake house.  The whole family was there and was it a long, but really fun day.  The pictures aren't in order and I couldn't figure out how to fix it. sorry :(
