This past weekend we went to the Waldo Fall Festival and Jeremy had the time of his life! We were there for three hours and stayed way past lunchtime, but he didn't seem to mind. They had a huge inflatable space shuttle with a long slide, a ride that flies around and a train ride. He loved them all and did them over and over again. Our cousins Blaire and Blythe came too and played. Haley and Blythe couldn't do as much as the older kids of course, but they still seemed to be happy in the fresh air. Jeremy loved hugging Clifford and he about jumped off the train when he saw KC Wolf. He loved him and continually wanted to hug him and give him high fives. A year ago, he was terrified of KC Wolf and screamed when we came close to him.

Outdoor Fun
We have been enjoying the nice weather and trying to get outside as much as we can. We have been to the zoo and Deanna Rose with friends and a few parks with Grandpa and Grandma Ficklin. We went to another Mizzou game and the last few Royals game of the season. Here are a few pictures from two different parks. Haley has really started to enjoy climbing and sliding!

Preschool
Jeremy started going to two year old preschool on Fridays. He has been twice and loves it! When we get there he says "mommy go, come back". He hasn't cried at all! He doesn't talk about his teachers or the other kids yet, but he loves the train mural in the hallway and the trains he can play with in the classroom. He also loves the playground and sandbox. He brings his Thomas backpack and Lighting McQueen lunchbox with him and loves to eat lunch and snack with the other kids.

Birthday parties
This past weekend we had two family birthday parties. On Friday night it was for cousin Mia's 12th on my side and then on Saturday it was for cousin Blaire's 3rd on Tim's side. Tim's grandparents were able to come so Haley and Jeremy were able to see their great grandparents and spend some time with them. We tried to get some good family pictures, but that's easier said than done. We did get some pretty good ones though as you can see here.

Jeremy's Garden
This summer, Jeremy planted a garden. He planted green beans, carrots, cantaloupe, watermelon and zucchini. The carrots never did anything and we got a few green beans. We have a cantaloupe that's very close to being ready to pick and many others growing. There is one watermelon growing and the zucchinis have done great. Here are a few pictures of the proud farmer!
