Mizzou games

Jeremy and Haley have been to two Mizzou games with us this year.  We didn't take them to the Georgia game because it would have been way too long of a day, a late night and tons of people.  None of us went to the Vanderbilt game because Tim was participating in the American Royal BBQ.  Which, as it turns out, was great because it was really cold and we lost!  The next game they will go to with us is the Kentucky Homecoming game  Jeremy and Haley both love to tailgate, watch the band practice and see Truman.  Once they get into the game, they watch for a few minutes and then they are ready to snack, and use the LeapPad and Ipod.   Jeremy is starting to sit still long enough to watch the game.  He pays attention to the score and is starting to learn somewhat how football is played. Haley is very wiggly, but she does clap when everyone else does.

Haley's 2nd Birthday

A few weeks ago, Haley celebrated her 2nd birthday.  On the day of her birthday, we went to Chick-fil-a to eat and play. She also had two birthday parties.  She had a princess theme party with friends in our backyard.  Then Haley had a family party where we celebrated her birthday and her cousin Mia's 13th birthday together at our house.

Billy's Double Club breakfast

At the Bishop Sullivan auction this year we were able to make a donation.  With that donation they give you free tickets to a Royals game and then a breakfast with some of the players. Tim had just had surgery the day before so he wasn't able to go and I wasn't sure if I wanted to try it on my own.  I am really glad I decided to go.  The kids had a great time interacting with the players, eating pancakes and playing.  It was lot of fun and I can't wait to go again next year!
